contents:

This 7-CD set contains the complete chamber music of the French master, with the complete “Les Nations” (a musical depiction of nationalities), Concerts Royaux, Les Gouts réunis, L’Apothéose de Corelli and de Lully and other pieces.

Instrumentation is for traversos, violins, oboes, bassoon, viola da gamba, cello, archlute and harpsichord, expertly played on original instruments by the ensemble Musica ad Rhenum conducted by specialist Jed Wentz.

As a motto for this set may serve a quotation from one of the pieces by Couperin himself: “One should not attach too much attention to the precise measure of this piece, but one should sacrifice everything to good taste”!

"And herein can be found the strength of Musica ad Rhenum's interpretation : Seldom is French Baroque music offered with so much irresistible elan, can the structure be heard so clearly and are the melodies brought out with so much love for and attention to detail." Fonoforum

  5. This is strange, 'cause the files seem OK. Anyway I made another upload:

  6. Thanks for the new upload. Unfortunately, the result is the same. Files "are" OK, but the message of error comes from the "rar" program: E:\CouComCha34\CouComCha34.rar: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged.

The compression seems to be irreparable.

    Thanks again.

  7. Maybe I know what's happening: cd4 folder is titled "Les Goûts-Réünis ou Nouveax Concerts", maybe your PC can't manage the strange characters (ûéü).
Try unrarring without making a folder or wait till I upload a new rar with a new name.

  8. Dear Bibixy. Thank you for your help. I have tried with other computers, with the same result. Impossible to do anything because all my programs of decompression declare the file a non-rar file. But tell me, please, does your answer mean that you can open the file after downloading it (not the one you have uploaded)? Thank you again.

  10. P.S. Can you tell me whixh version of WinRar you use? (I use 3.0)
Consider using 7zip if you experience a lot of problems with winrar

  11. Dear Bibixy, Thanks for your generous help. Now the problem is fixed. I started with the file ...34.rar, and obtained the same result, even with the recent version of winrar, even also with 7zip and other programs. What you propose was impossible, because each of these programs "refuses" to handle with the file, from the beginning. Finaly, taking separately files 3 and 4, all was =K. Thank you again.
